Financial Literacy for Older Adults
No matter your age, financial literacy is an essential life skill that grows through lifelong learning. This program invites participants to reflect on their personal beliefs, habits, and emotions around money. You will assess your current level of knowledge and confidence about financial matters and learn about goal setting, the fundamentals of budgeting in a clear, approachable way, and how to identify and protect yourself from frauds and scams targeted at seniors. Open to all older adults; no financial background required. These workshops are run by a community facilitator who received training through Prosper Canada.
