Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre
The last operating stacked theatre in the world: two Edwardian theatres one above the other on Yonge Street, the garden-themed Winter Garden floating over the gilded Elgin, together a National Historic Site. The Trust's guided tours are the way inside without a show ticket; the current public tour season has finished and tours return in January 2027.

Entry: Guided tours cost $20 per person per the Ontario Heritage Trust's 2026 tours page; tours are 90 minutes, are reserved in advance, and walk-ups are not accepted. Performances in the theatres are ticketed separately.
