soreloser with Johnson Street Band & The Morays
Rooted in alternative rock, soreloser blends tight strong grooves, hook-driven melodies, and textured guitars with emotionally sharp songwriting. The project explores modern struggles of youth such as femininity, identity, and uncertainty through reflection rather than commentary. Its ironic name is intentional, contrasting playful connotations with emotionally weighty themes, creating space for vulnerability and accessibility to confront difficult topics.
