Constantinople, directed by Kiya Tabassian, with Tunisian-Belgian vocalist Ghalia Benali, reimagines songs inspired by Omar Khayyam's poetry — composed by Riad El Sonbati and made famous by Oum Kalthoum — through Persian and Arabic musical traditions, early music, contemporary composition and improvisation. Part of Ishq Festival 2026, produced by Small World Music. At Meridian Arts Centre (George Weston Hall) in Toronto. Verified on the producer's own ticketing page (Small World Music), which publishes the date, time and venue and states that all prices are in Canadian dollars but publishes no ticket amounts; the Ticketmaster George Weston venue page (131882) lists the same performance (Fri Dec 4, 8:00 PM). No price is staged because no amount is published on the event's own pages (the Ticketmaster event page itself returns 401 to text fetches, and TM list views publish no prices). Venue folded to Meridian Arts Centre per the alias table, hall noted here.
